For almost 30 years, Chelmsford Comedy Club has been creating those moments.
Thousands of comedy lovers have walked through our doors since we first opened in 1996, enjoying unforgettable evenings with family, friends, work colleagues and loved ones.

When Chelmsford Comedy Club first opened at the Cramphorn Theatre in 1996, nobody could have imagined the incredible journey that lay ahead.
Over the years we've welcomed audiences at the:

🌿 And today, the beautiful Lion House at The Lion Inn, Boreham.
Every venue has its own stories.
Every audience has its own memories.
Every show has created moments worth remembering.
For nearly thirty years we've watched people laugh together, celebrate together and create memories that last a lifetime.
Now we'd love to bring those memories together in one place.
We're Building the Ultimate Chelmsford Comedy Club Archive
Our brand-new website isn't simply a place to book tickets.
It's becoming the online home of Chelmsford Comedy Club.
A place where we can celebrate nearly three decades of live comedy in Essex.
